PM praises National Academy of Public Administration on 60th founding anniversary

The Government leader made the statement at a ceremony held by the NAPA in Hanoi on June 8 to celebrate its 60th founding anniversary and receive Labour Order, second class.

He said that the outcomes to NAPA’s research in administration and State management have provided scientific reference for the Party and State in the building of guidelines, strategies and policies regarding administrative reforms, civil servants, and public employees.

At a time when the fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) has brought about both opportunities and challenges to the country, he asked the NAPA to step up the application of science and technology into its operation.

The academy was requested to develop qualified human resources personal, who can perform effectively at work in the context of an intensive integration environment while being loyal to the Party, State and people.

The PM also urged the NAPA to renovate its training programmes and documents in order to equip trainees with adequate knowledge and skill on State management, calling on lecturers at the academy to renew their teaching methods and keep them updated with the current situations.

He also called for more fruitful research and advisory activities in order to give predictions and consultation on administrative management policies for the Party and State.

Also at the ceremony, NAPA’s outstanding individuals and collectives were also presented with the Prime Minister’s certificates of merit to honour their contributions to the academy over the past 60 years.
