Minister To Lam proposes Bac Ninh to focus on realizing Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress

A working group of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Ministry of Public Security was led by Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Minister of Public Security General To Lam visited and worked with the Standing Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee, on the afternoon of January 11, to evaluate results of the province's political tasks for the 2020 - 2025 term and the leadership of the local Party Committee and government over the local police in ensuring security and order and building the force.

At the meeting, delegates review the work as well as discussed measures to strengthen the Party’s leadership in ensuring security and order and building the police force, associated with economic, cultural, social development in Bac Ninh province in the coming time.

Regarding the tasks of socio-economic development, digital transformation, and social security policies in 2024 and the following years, Minister To Lam proposed that the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee closely follow resolutions and directions of the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly and the Government while leading the province to complete its tasks and achieve the set targets, contributing to the successful completion of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 20th Bac Ninh Provincial Party Congress.

Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Anh Tuan thanked the working group for its comments and recommendations, and pledged that the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee will lead the province successfully fulfill the work plan, Party resolutions while maintaining order and security and developing the province comprehensively.

* On the same day, Minister To Lam and his entourage visited the Traffic Command Center of the Bac Ninh Provincial Police Department.

The Bac Ninh traffic camera system with the use of IA to analyze images has been installed since April 2023 to control the local traffic, handle traffic violations and traffic accidents. 

Thanks to the system, the local traffic order and safety has been improved, local people have been more aware of following traffic safety regulations, and reduced traffic accidents.

Minister To Lam believed that when Bac Ninh is successfully built as a "traffic safety province", it will be a model to replicate nationwide. The minister underlined, “If each locality and each province is safe, the whole country will be safe, and people will enjoy a peaceful and happy life.”
