Minister To Lam receives UN Resident Coordinator in Vietnam

At the meeting with the UN Resident Coordinator and Representative of the Secretary-General of the UN in Vietnam, Minister To Lam congratulated Mr. Kamal Malhotra on his successful term of office in Vietnam.

According to Minister To Lam, Mr. Kamal Malhotra has made a great contribution to the development of the world in general, and Vietnam in particular.

Minister To Lam affirmed that Vietnam always attaches great importance to the role of the UN in maintaining peace and promoting sustainable development in the world. Minister To Lam hoped that in the coming time, the UN will continue to support equipment for Vietnam and the building of its law enforcement capacity to combat transnational organized crime as well as improve operational efficiency of cross-border liaison offices.
