Head of the Project 06 Working Group and Minister of Public Security General To Lam chaired the meeting.
The meeting was also attended by Permanent Deputy Head of the Project 06 Working Group and Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, other members of the working group, representatives from relevant agencies under the Ministry of Public Security.

Delegates from ministries and seven provinces and cities, namely Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Kien Giang, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Ninh, Khanh Hoa and Binh Duong, participated in the meeting online via videoconferencing.

The general report read that leaders of the Government gave a lot of instructions on implementation of Project 06 in March.

Specially, the Prime Minister requested the State Bank of Vietnam to coordinate closely with the Ministry of Public Security to use population data and apply Project 06 to facilitate consumer lending, contributing to reducing "black credit".

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang chaired the online conference with Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City and ministries and branches to discuss measures to step up the implementation of Project 06/CP and remove obstacles.

Thanks to the directions, Project 06 continued to achieve outstanding results in March. 

For example, Hanoi city has recently applied electronic health insurance, setting up and managing more than 8.1 million health records of people in the city.

Regarding the development of digital citizenship, the Ministry of Public Security has now received over 86 million chip-embedded identification cards and over 74.48 million electronic identification records (an increase of 600 thousand accounts compared to February 2024), activated over 53.25 million accounts (an increase of 500 thousand accounts compared to February 2024).

Overview of the meeting.

During the discussion under the chair of Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc, delegates evaluated the results of implementing Project 06 of each ministry or locality, and proposed solutions to remove difficulties in implementing contents of Project 06.

Concluding the meeting, Minister To Lam requested the Ministry of Justice to advise the Government's Working Group on legal documents, and urgently propose solutions to the 428 administrative procedures that will have not been simplified by March 31, 2024. 

At the same time, Minister To Lam requested 13 ministries to give written comments on the draft report on the results of the implementation of Project 06 so that the Working Group can submit the report to the Prime Minister.

Regarding public services, Minister To Lam requested ministries and agencies to early complete 28 priority online public service groups so as to be put on the National Public Service Portal in 2024 on time, in line with Decision No. 206/QD-TTg issued on February 28, 2024 by the Prime Minister.

The head of the Project 06 Working Group also required Hanoi to take the lead in implementing the project, setting an example for other localities while the other six provinces and cities should focus on implementing.

Minister To Lam also requested all ministries and localities to carefully process and clean up data before feeding it to the National Database as well as ensure security and safety while connecting, sharing data on the National Database.
