State President Luong Cuong attends group discusion of Central Public Security Party Organization’s delegation
On the morning of January 22, as part of the official agenda for the 14th National Party Congress, Member of the Politburo and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Luong Cuong, who is also the Chairman of the National Defense and Security Council and the Commander-in-Chief of the People’s Armed Forces, attended a group discussion with the delegation from the Central Public Security Party Organization.
The session was chaired by General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, and Minister of Public Security, and attended by Members of the Central Public Security Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security as well as other delegates from the Central Public Security Party Organization attending the 14th National Party Congress.
The 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam takes place from January 19 to January 23 at the National Convention Center in Hanoi.
The theme of the 14th National Congress Congress is “Under the glorious flag of the Party, uniting in strength and determination to successfully achieve national development goals by 2030; strategic self-reliance, self-strengthening and self-confidence to firmly advance into the era of the nation’s rise, for peace, independence, democracy, prosperity, affluence, civilisation and happiness, steadfastly moving toward socialism.”
