Thai Binh hosts “All People Protect National Security” festival
The Thai Binh Provincial Steering Committee for Crime Control and Building of “All People Protect National Security” Movement held a “All People Protect National Security” festival, on the afternoon of August 16, in Diem Dien township, Thai Thuy district.
Politburo member and Standing Member of the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee Truong Thi Mai; Mr. Nguyen Quang Duong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee's Organization Commission; Mr. Ngo Dong Hai, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee; Major General Le Van Tuyen, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended the event.
Currently Thai Thuy district has more than 100 self-defense, self-management and self-defense models with the participation of people from all walks of life operating in villages, hamlets, residential quarters, communes, townships, agencies, businesses, schools.
The models that operate effectively include "drug-free school", "security camera", "self-management border security protection".
Speaking at the festival, Standing Member of the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee Truong Thi Mai expressed delight at attending the festival with many exciting activities and seeing local people from all walks of life participating in the event.
She took chance to praise the achievements made by Thai Binh province, Thai Thuy district and Diem Dien town.
At the festival, Deputy Minister of Public Security Le Van Tuyen presented medals and certificates of merit from the Ministry of Public Security to 20 groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in the “All People Protect National Security” movement over the past time.
Meanwhile, eaders of the of the Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to seven groups and individuals for their outstanding achievements, and Director of the Thai Binh Provincial Police Department Senior Colonel Tran Van Phuc rewarded certificates of merit to six groups and individuals for their outstanding achievements.
