Having heard reports on the work results of the Central Highlands Mobile Police Regiment in protecting security and order in the region over the past time, Vice-President Vo Thi Anh Xuan underlined that the Central Highlands is a strategically important area for national security and defense, so that the mission of the Central Highlands Mobile Police Regiment is particularly significant.

The Vice-President requested that, the Central Highlands Mobile Police Regiment should thoroughly grasp and effectively implement Resolution No. 12 by the Politburo on building truly clean, strong, regular, elite, and modern Public Security Forces, while being always strongly aware of the importance to the mission of maintaining security and order in the current situation, so as to successfully perform all of its assigned tasks.

The regiment was also requested to strengthen its coordination with police departments of provinces, army and border guard units, as well as maintain close ties with all levels of the political system and the people in the region.

Vice-President Vo Thi Anh Xuan underscored that the regiment attach greater importance to building capacity of mobile police officers and enlistees, regularly organize training courses and drills, thoroughly grasp the regional security and order situation, and maintain its combat readiness to prevent any unexpected strategic surprise in the region.

The Vice-President also urged that the Central Highlands Mobile Police Regiment continue to excel in the work of Party building, enhance the effectiveness and quality of political and ideological education for its police officers and enlistees as well as build an image of the public security officer who is always ready to sacrifice himself for the Fatherland and wholeheartedly serve the people.

As the Tet Festival is coming, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan reminded the regiment’s commanders to pay due attention to the material and spiritual lives of their officers and enlistees, ensuring that every officer or enlistee who would do their duty at a faraway post can feel the warmth of Spring, the dear friendship of their comrades and their leaders’ thoughtfulness and care for them.
