PSNews - A working delegation of the Ministry of Public Security led by Deputy Minister Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen inspected the fire, explosion and accident warning system at the Bac Ninh Provincial Police Command Information Center, on April 10.

Leaders of the Bac Ninh Provincial Police Department worked with the inspection delegation.

At the meeting, a leader of the Bac Ninh Provincial Police Department reported on the operational regime of the fire and explosion warning system and the plan to deploy the 114 fire alarm application.

According to the report, the Provincial Police Department coordinated with GTEL Company to pilot-run the Gsafe rapid fire warning transmission system in Bac Ninh province, and it has been integrated into the Provincial Police Command Information Center, which includes information about the local traffic, fire and rescue, security and order.

The local police have also completed the installation of information technology systems, and  employed software systems, such as Gtel Maps digital map, command information software to receive rapid fire warnings, and integrated software systems of vehicles and equipment for firefighting and rescue.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen requested GTEL Company to further research and renovate all the software systems to an extent that all warnings and messages on fire, security, order, traffic, and health are integrated into a platform.

Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen also urged the local police and their partners to actively apply AI to information processing, proactively propose higher levels to improve configurations of the server system to ensure its smooth operation, and create customer service centers to process information promptly.

The Deputy Minister suggested that the Provincial Police Department should proactively prepare adequate facilities and resources for fire and rescue training, drills for local fire and rescue police and communal police forces while further coordinating with GTEL Company to pilot the Fire, Explosion and Accident Warning System so that it could be appraised and approved on June 15 and permitted by the Ministry of Public Security to be deployed nationwide from July 1, 2025.
