Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen works with Police Department of Fire and Rescue
PSNews - Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen had a working session with the Police Department of Fire and Rescue, on February 11th, in Hanoi.

Delivering a report at the meeting, Director of the Police Department of Fire and Rescue Lieutenant General Nguyen Tuan Anh stated that the police department effectively implemented directives of the Party, the National Assembly, the Government and the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) regarding the work of fire prevention, firefighting and rescue, last year.
Additionally, the Fire and Rescue Police Force strongly promoted dissemination programs on fire safety regulations, attached great importance to building a nationwide movement for fire prevention, firefighting and rescue, and actively applied science and technology to fire prevention, firefighting and rescue.
Addressing the meeting, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and MPS leaders, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen hailed the outstanding achievements of the Police Department of Fire and Rescue over the past time.

Agreeing with the work plans for 2025 set forth by the Fire and Rescue Police Department, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen requested that the Fire and Rescue Police Department should accelerate the drafting of the Government's decree and the MPS circulars guiding the Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Law so that the law will be implemented efficiently and effectively when it comes into force on July 1st, 2025.
The Deputy Minister also reminded the Fire and Rescue Police Force to intensify public education and popularization of the law, fire safety regulations and life-saving skills in emergencies, and regularly give people warnings against fire and fire prevention approaches.

Finally, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen requested the police department to proactively propose plans and projects related to fire prevention, fighting and rescue, while enhancing international cooperation with fire and rescue agencies around the world.
