100 public security medical workers sent to Ho Chi Minh City
A mission of 100 public security medical nurses and doctors on August 24 set off to Ho Chi Minh City to support the local efforts in the fight against the pandemic.
This is the 3rd reinforcement of public security doctors and medical workers to the South. This time, the 100 doctors, nurses and medical workers from Hospital 198, Hospital 199 and Traditional Medicine Hospital under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) are assigned to run the MPS’s field hospital based in Phuoc Loc commune, Nha Be district.
Senior Colonel, Doctor Dinh Ta Hien, from the Traditional Medicine Hospital under the MPS, headed the medical mission, expressed his honor to join hands with the authorities and people of Ho Chi Minh City and other Southern provinces in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
At the send-off ceremony, leaders of Hospital 198 and Traditional Medicine Hospital appreciated the voluntary spirit of all members of the medical mission and expressed hope they will overcome all difficulties and fulfil their given tasks.
