77th Public Security Conference successfully concludes
After three days of meeting, the 77th National Public Security Conference successfully concluded on December 29.
Addressing the year-end meeting of the Ministry of Public Security, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), Minister To Lam praised the great achievements obtained by all public security agencies and units in 2021.
Regarding tasks of the Public Security Forces in the following years, he asked all public security agencies and units to thoroughly and successfully implement all resolutions from the Public Security Central Party Committee, instructions from leaders of the Ministry of Public Security to achieve the set targets for 2022, the orientation for the force development by 2025 and the vision on the force development by 2030.
Minister To Lam noted public security agencies and units at all levels continue to innovate their work and describe specific duties and responsibilities of each public security officer in carrying out mass mobilization, expanding international cooperation and promoting the “All people protect national security” movement.
All agencies and units should further improve the quality and efficiency of their working aspects, General To Lam requested.
Additionally, the minister urged the entire Public Security Forces to closely monitor developments in the pandemic and strictly follow guidelines of the MPS and the Ministry of Health for Covid-19 prevention and control.
