9 public security artists proposed for noble titles

9 artists working at the Public Security Forces have been proposed for the titles of People’s Artist and Meritorious Artist.

The Artistic Title Appraisal Council of the Public Security Department for Information and Communications (DIC) agreed to propose Senior Colonel Nguyen Quang Vinh, former DIC Deputy Director, and Senior Colonel Nguyen Thanh Loan, former Deputy Director of Public Security Center for Cinema, under the DIC, for the title of People’s Artist.
Three other officers at the DIC have been proposed for the title of Meritorious Artist.
Meanwhile, the Mobile Police Command proposed one officer for the title of Meritorious Artist.
The list of the candidates will be considered by the ministerial-level council, which is expected to hold an official meeting in late July.
