Bringing Tet to all over Vietnam
PSNews-As the program “Tet for the poor” continues, the Tet for the poor
(Public Security Forces) Newspaper in cooperation with various companies and individual donors presented Tet gifts to needy people in different provinces of Vietnam, including Thua Thien – Hue and Kien Giang.
The CAND Newspaper and Tan Viet Bac Mining Company visited Phong Xuan commune (Phong Dien district, Thua Thien – Hue) and handed over 100 Tet gifts to households in needy situations,policy beneficiaries and revolution contributors. This activity was part of the "Tet for the poor 2017" program launched by the CAND newspaper.
“This is the 3rd time our company has participated in offering gifts to needy people, along with the CAND Newspaper,”said Mr. Do Quang Trung on behalf of Tan Viet Bac Company.
“Although these are just small gifts, we hope they could help needy families and policy beneficiaries enjoy abetter and warmer Lunar New Year,” a member of the charity delegation said.

To continue their “Tet for the poor” journey, the CAND Newspaper and Phu Cuong Kien Giang Company collaborated with local authorities in bringing Lunar New Year’s presents to underprivileged households in Phi Thong commune, Rach Gia city, Kien Giang.
This is the first time the People’s Committee of Phi Thong commune held a joint event in making Banh Tet (a kind of cylinder glutinous rice cake like typical Vietnamese Lunar New Year square cake or Banh Chung) for needy people in 6 local villages.
In the afternoon, the same day, the CAND Newspaper and Phu Cuong Company cooperated with the Kien Giang Provincial Police to present 50 gifts for other needy local households.
