The mission was joined by Senior Colonel Tran Kim Tham, Deputy Director of the Department for Information and Communications under the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the CAND Newspaper; Mr. Ha The Cuong, Head of the Management Board of the Chua Chan Mountain tourism site; Mr. Nguyen Minh Hoang, Deputy Director of Toan Xuan Hung Company; representatives of the Tien Giang Provincial Youth Union organization, and leaders of the Party and Political Work Division of the Tien Giang Provincial Police Department.

In Hung Thanh Commune (Tan Phuoc District), the CAND Newspaper and partners presented 200 packs of gifts, including 2.5 tons of rice, soy sauce, salt, cooking oil, and other necessities with a total value of 80 million VND, to local policy beneficiary and needy families.
Senior Colonel Tran Kim Tham, Deputy Director of the Department for Information and Communications under the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the CAND Newspaper said that: “Although the gift itself is small in value but it shows the empathy of the CAND Newspaper and kind donors for the policy beneficiary and needy families in the locality. We hope that the gifts would help local people overcome their difficulties in life.”
Mr. Ha The Cuong, Head of the Management Board of the Chua Chan Mountain tourism site said: “With their donation, Buddhists of Buu Quang Pagoda and staff of the Chua Chan Mountain tourism site would like to accompany the CAND Newspaper to support Kien Giang people to overcome their difficult times after Storm No.9.”
Leaders of Hung Thanh Commune, on behalf of the local people, thanked the CAND Newspaper and donors for their sympathy with the lives of needy people and policy beneficiary families of the commune, and said that this was a great source of encouragement to the local residents.
