Central Party Committee of Public Security works with Central Organizing Commission
PSNews - The Central Party Committee of Public Security and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on August 22 worked with the Central Organizing Commission of the Party Central Committee on the organization of the Central Party Committee of Public Security of the term 2015-2020, as well as a draft Regulations of Party organizations in the People's Public Security to be replaced for Decision No. 72-QD / TW issued on February 24, 2017 by the Party Central Committee.

The event saw the presence of Mr. Pham Minh Chinh, Member of the Politburo, Member of the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee and Head of the Central Organizing Commission; Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and Minister of Public Security.
Addressing the meeting, Mr. Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the implementation of the resolutions of the Party Central Committee and the Government's decrees on renovating and streamlining the public security apparatus for more efficiency and effectiveness.

Participants at the working session agreed on the need to complete the organization of the Party Central Committee of Public Security of the term 2015-2020, in line with the new organizational structure of the Public Security Forces and meeting all criteria for membership, ages of members, rational composition of membership, as well as other criteria for members of a Party committee.
Delegates also underlined the need to issue a regulation set on the Party organization of the People’s Public Security Forces, and proposed the Politburo to soon issue the set so as to ensure the absolute and direct leadership of the Party in all areas of the public security affairs in the context that the MPS is reorganizing its structure. They also proposed the Party Central Committee to clarify some questions related to Party work in the People’s Police Forces.
