Conference on Trade Union’s financial documents kicks off

The conference scrutinized a number of documents on the Trade Union’s finance, including temporary regulations on the use of the expenses of Trade Union organizations above the basic level within public security force; and the guidelines on trade union membership fees and distribution of the fee sources. 

Base on the practical operations in collecting and using trade union membership fees in basic-level trade union organizations, and  the acquired knowledge from trade union training conferences held in Thua Thien-Hue and Can Tho by the General Department of Politics’ Trade Union organization, participants canvassed difficulties and advantages in financial work in public security trade union organizations and agreed on suggestions for higher-level trade union organizations to supplement and amend the existing regulations to meet the requirements for financial activities in public security trade union organizations in the current context.

Within the framework of the conference, the Trade Union organization of the General Department of Politics of the Public Security Forces gave instructions on summarizing trade union activities in 2016 and crafting work programs for 2017 under the guidance of the Trade Union Executive Board.

In particular, the guidance required focusing on evaluating the situation of officers, trade union members and workers as well as results of political and ideological education activities within the trade union organizations. The trade union organizations must also take care of member's lives, ensure the rights and benefits of officers, trade union members and workers in the Public Security Force; organize excellent and creative working emulation movement in public security trade union organizations; admit more trade union members, build strong basic-level trade union organization, and  participate in building strong Party organizations. Also, trade union organizations should focus on financial work; inspection and operation of the inspectorate as well as classification of trade union organizations ad members..
