Cuban Ambassador pledges to promote traditional friendship
PSNews – Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Minister of Public Security on December 25 received Ms. Lianys Torres Rivera, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to Vietnam.

Minister Lam thanked the Cuban Ambassador and the Embassy of Cuba in Vietnam for supporting and facilitating the recent visit of the high-ranking delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) to Cuba, contributing to the success of the visit.
He also believed that the success of the visit contributed to promoting the comprehensive cooperation, traditional friendship and mutual trust between the two Parties, States and peoples in general and between the MPS of Vietnam and the Ministry of the Interior of Cuba in particular.
Minister Lam also hoped that the two ministries would further boost their cooperation in prevention and fighting against crimes, including organized and transnational crime, cyber-crime, terrorism, human trafficking and other non-traditional security threats.
The Cuban Ambassador affirmed that she in her capacity as the ambassador would promote the fine relations between Vietnam and Cuba and bilateral cooperation in the fields of mutual interests for more good achievements.
