Department of Security Investigation reviews its working results

Honoring outstanding individuals and teams.

Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Deputy Minister of Public Security, attended and delivered a keynote speech at the event.

According to reports at the meeting, the Department effectively fulfilled the given tasks in 2020, contributing to ensuring political security and social order and safety across the country.

The Department of Security Investigation was honored with the title of Hero of People’s Armed Forces in 2020, while many subunits and officers of the Department were presented awards by leaders of various levels.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang appreciated the achievements gained by the Department in 2020.

He also asked the Department to manage to ensure progress, quality of investigation of security crimes, avoid injustices or wrongdoings while investing cases in line with the laws. The Department should coordinate closely with judicial agencies from central to local levels while conducting investigation, and seek social consensus on its investigation and handling of cases of public concern regarding violations of national security.
