Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam inspected police work at Khanh Hoa Police Department

PSNews - Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security, on May 26 worked with the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police Department.

Over the past five months, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police Department has strictly followed and implemented the instructions from the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, and advised the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee on approaches to deal with issues related to local security and social order.

The local police have successfully safeguarded many social activities during the celebration of the 2020 New Year and the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Retreat.

They have also solved more than 92% of the criminal cases while 95% of the serious and extremely serious cases have been successfully investigated. The local police detected 50 drug-related cases and arrested 92 people involved.

The Khanh Hoa provincial police have also posted professional police officers to all 96 communes across the province.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam recognized and praised the achievements of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police Department over the past time.

The Deputy Minister requested the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police Department to take measures to ensure security and absolute safety for the Party congresses at all levels in preparation for the 13

th National Party Congress as well as the activities within the framework of the 2020 ASEAN Year.

They should also pay due attention to the management of foreigners, ensuring traffic order and safety, effectively preventing fire and explosions as well as fighting crimes of all kinds.
