Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam inspects security work for APEC in Ngu Hanh Son
PSNews – Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Deputy Minister of Public Security, inspected the security maintenance work for the APEC 2017 Summit Week of the Ngu Hanh Son Police, Da Nang on November 11.
A representative of the Ngu Hanh Son Police briefed the Deputy Minister on the implement of the plans to ensure security, safety, medical support, food safety and hygiene in the area. The district’s police has been tasked with protecting several venues of APEC events and activities, and other security issues.
Before the APEC Summit Week, the district’s police had developed and deployed various plans to protect security, social order and safety. Security checks are still carried out regularly from wards to the entire district. Ngu Hanh Son police had also developed plans to prevent and handle any illegal gathering in the district, especially in the hotels for APEC delegates.
Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam appreciated the sense of responsibility and efforts of the district’s police. He also urged the district police to review their plans to ensure security and order, prevent fire and explosion prevention and epidemics, and ready to deploy health care services, including preventive measures.
The Deputy Minister also expressed his impression on the models of promoting close relations between police officers and the people of Ngu Hanh Son and on their campaigns to enhance the involvement of the mass in ensuring security and order and traffic safety in the locality.
