Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam inspects task performance of An Giang Provincial Police

The event saw the presence of Mr. Le Van Nung, Vice Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People’s Committee.

Major General Bui Be Tu, Director of the AnGiang Provincial Police Department, briefed Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam and other delegates on the security situation in the locality and results of the local force’s task performance in the first 9 months of 2019.

Accordingly, the local police force focused on taking professional measures, grasped the local order and security situation and closely watched the key routes, critical areas and subjects with criminal records.

Regarding State management over public order and security, local police units also made a lot of positive changes in handling administrative procedures by applying technologies to the work to create favorable conditions and save time for individuals, organizations and enterprises when dealing with administrative procedures at police offices.

Speaking at the inspection, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam highly appreciated the effort of the An Giang Provincial Police Department over the past time. He asked the entire local police force of An Giang Province to focus on ensuring social order and traffic safety, while actively participating in rescue and natural disaster relief.

Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam also requested that the An Giang Provincial Police Department should strengthen their internal solidarity, focus on force building and personnel training, take due care of local police officers as well as to implement effectively the project “appointing professional officers to the position of chief of communal police posts”.
