Major General Le Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister of Public Security, had a meeting with the police force Quang Ngai province on November 4 to review relief ops after floods and landslides triggered by Typhoon No. 9.

The delegation of Deputy Minister Hung visited the Communal Police Post of Pho Khanh, Duc Pho town, which suffered severe damages due to the storm. Deputy Minister Hung inquired after the health of local policemen and encouraged them to continue their efforts in conducting post-disaster relief activities and ensuring security and order in the locality.
The delegation visited and presented gifts to a household suffering a great damage due to the storm. They also visited and worked with the police of Mo Duc district and the provincial police of Quang Ngai province.
According to reports, the total loss caused by storm 9 to Quang Ngai was estimated at VND 4,480 billion.
