Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi visits families of former leaders of MPS
PSNews - On the occasion of the 75 years anniversary of the foundation of Public Security Forces (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2020), a delegation of the Public Security Ministry (MPS) led by Major General Le Tan Toi paid a visit to families of former leaders of MPS.
Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi and the delegation paid a visit and presented gifts to families of the late Deputy Minister of MPS including Senior Lieutenant General Lam Van The, Major General Nguyen Van Rop, Senior Lieutenant General Thi Van Tam. They also visited families of the late member of former Central Security Department of the South including Mr. Huynh Viet Thang and Mr. Le Van Con.
On behalf of the MPS, Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi briefed families of former leaders of MPS on great achievements of the force over the past time. He also extended his best wishes to the families of former leaders of the MPS, and expressed gratitude to the former leaders of the MPS for their great contributions to the national revolutionary cause in general and the development of the Public Security Forces in particular.
Earlier, General To Lam, Minister of Public Security and the delegation of MPS have paid tribute to the late ministers Mai Chi Tho, Pham Hung and Bui Thien Ngo, and had meetings with their families.
He also paid a visit and presented gifts to Mr. Nguyen Tan Dung, former Prime Minister and former Deputy Minister of Public Security; Mr. Vo Thai Hoa, former Deputy Minister of Public Security; Mr. Vo Viet Thanh, former Deputy Minister of Public Security.
