A delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) led by Major General Le Tan Toi, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security, worked with the Department of Professional Records and Archives on June 16.
At the meeting, Director Major General Ngo Thi Hoang Yen briefed the delegates on the department's task performance in the first half of 2021 and working plans for the next months.

The delegates then discussed issues related to the management of criminal records and professional archives as well as proposed solutions to overcome the existing difficulties in order to improve the efficiency and quality of their task performances in the time to come.
Addressing the event, Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi spoke highly of the department's efforts and achievements over the past time, saying the management of criminal records and professional archives is an important task. Therefore, the Deputy Minister asked officers of the Department of Professional Records and Archives to well perform their functions and duties in an appropriate and effective manner.

Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi also asked the department to enhance cooperation and information exchange on criminal records and professional archives with other under-ministerial agencies and units as well as provincial-level police departments, contributing to improving the effectiveness of the management of archives and records.
