At the meeting, provincial police leaders Ha Nam, Ninh Binh, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Hung Yen and Vinh Phuc briefed the deputy minister and delegates on the results of their implementation of population database project and e-ID card project.
According to the reports, the police in the six province has achieved remarkable results. These days, local police work from early morning to late evening with their spirit of responsibility to issue e-ID cards to local people.
During the meeting, the delegates also discussed their difficulties and challenges and shared their working experience in the implementation of the two projects.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc asked the provincial police departments of the six provinces of a Nam, Ninh Binh, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Hung Yen and Vinh Phuc to advise the Provincial Party Committees to support the police force in implementing the e-ID card project.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc asked all local police units to focus on their major tasks, including building a roadmap to complete the national database system on population and electronic chip ID card issuance.
He also urged the police units to mobilize their forces and means for the issuance of ID cards in accordance with local situations. In addition, leaders of all police units should raise their sense of responsibility for the work by enhancing inspection and supervision of their subordinates’ implementation of the two projects.
