Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc inspects rehearsal for two key projects

Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Deputy Minister of Public Security on June 20 inspected the rehearsal for the online conference to review two key projects on national population database and chip-based ID card and the ceremony to announce the official operation of the National Population Database (NPD).

With the approval of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) will hold a conference on June 22 to review the two key projects and a ceremony to announce the official operation of the NPD from July 1. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is expected to attend the event.

The conference will be held at the MPS Hall and live broadcast on VTV, ANTV. At the ceremony, delegates can try new services such as social security, effective features of chip card readers, mobile verification devices and many other convenient services.

Addressing the rehearsal, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc spoke highly of relevant agencies' sense of responsibility and professionalism in preparing for the event. 

The Deputy Minister suggested that they should carefully prepare in terms of contents for the conference to clarify the police forces' efforts and outstanding achievements in performing the two projects.
