Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son visits Hospital 199
PSNews – Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security, on February 26 visited Hospital 199 under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), on the occasion of the 63rd Vietnamese Doctors’ Day.

Major General, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Dinh, Director of Hospital 199 expressed his delight at welcoming Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son and his entourage, and recommended some issues related to public security health mechanisms, policies and orientations to develop the hospital in the future.
Thanks to the investment of the MPS, professional dedication, as well as its staff’s continuous efforts to conduct scientific research and apply new medical achievements, the Hospital 199 has successfully completed its missions of providing medical examination and treatment for public security officers and soldiers in Da Nang and neighbouring provinces in central Vietnam.
In 2017, the hospital conducted medical examinations of more than 101,000, including 5,014 police officers. All departments under the hospitals have strictly implemented the professional regulations, and promoted the virtues of medical doctors and workers.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son acknowledged the efforts of the hospital's staff to overcome difficulties and develop the hospital in various aspects.
The Deputy Minister asked Hospital 199 to effectively implement the guidelines of the Central Public Security Party Committee on capacity building as well as healthcare services for public security and people in the new situation, simplify administrative procedures in medical examination and treatment, and continue to expand the coverage of health insurance to more people, contributing to promoting the policy of universal health insurance
On this occasion, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son also sent flowers to congratulate medical doctors and workers of Da Nang Hospital C, Da Nang General Hospital and Da Nang Traditional Medicine Hospital on the occasion of the Vietnamese Doctor’s Day.
