Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son works with Department of Telecommunication and Cipher

Major General Nguyen The Binh, Director of the Telecommunication and Cipher Department, briefed the Deputy Minister of Public Security and other delegates on working results of the Department in the past time, noting that the Department had advised the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leaders of the Ministry on the state management of telecommunication and cipher in the Public Security Forces.

The Department also fulfilled all given tasks in 2019 and took measures to ensure the smooth run of all public security signal and cipher channels, meeting all urgent and regular requirements of leaders of public security agencies and units at all levels.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son recognized and applauded the good results of the Department in the past time.

He also asked the Department to review and complete the working regulations and quickly fix all shortcomings as well as to pay more attention to training of officers.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son also asked the Department to cooperate with relevant agencies under the Ministry of Public Security to advise the leaders of the Ministry on a long-term development strategy for the telecommunication and cipher sector.
