Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son works with Dong Thap Police
PSNews - Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security on March 19 led a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) to visit and work with the Provincial Police of Dong Thap.

At the meeting, leaders of the Dong Thap Police briefed the deputy minister and the delegation on the unit’s performance and outcomes of the police work in the first quarter of 2018 and the action plans for the rest of the year.
Accordingly, in the first quarter of 2018, the police force of Dong Thap followed closely the directions of the MPS, advised the Provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee to give local forces sound directions to effectively promote national security, social order and safety.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son appreciated the efforts and achievements of the police force of Dong Thap in recent times.

He also urged the provincial police force to thoroughly grasp the local situation and socio-economic development plans, advise the local authorities on approaches to solve complex situational developments and issues related to security and order, enhance prevention and fight against crimes, promote Party building and force building, and maintain local political stability, contributing to the province’s socio-economic development.

Earlier on the same day, Deputy Minister Son and the delegation visited and laid flowers at the memorial site of Nguyen Sinh Sac, father of President Ho chi Minh, in Cao Lanh, and attended a ceremony held by the staff of the Cao Lanh Prison to celebrate its 40th Founding Anniversary and receive of the Feat of Arms Order of third class.
