Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh checks security plan for national patriotic emulation congress

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh is a member of the congress’s Organizing Board and vice head of the subcommittee of logistic- security.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh emphasized the political significance of the congress, saying that ensuring security and order for the festival is an important task of the Public Security Forces.

He asked all relevant public security units to seriously implement Plan 240 issued by the Ministry of Public Security to actively deploy forces and means to ensure security and order before and during the 10th National Patriotic Emulation Congress as well as relevant events.

The Ministry of Public Security on June 8 issued Plan 240, assigning public security units to closely coordinate with relevant ministries, departments and branches in ensuring security and safety for the congress as well as for the participating Party and State leaders, delegates, the venue, the routes to transport delegates, accommodations for delegates, related programs and activities in the framework of the congress.
