Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh pays tribute to former Deputy Minister Pham Tam Long
PSNews – On the occasion of the Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security paid a visit and tribute to Mr. Pham Tam Long, former Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs (now the Ministry of Public Security - MPS).

The visiting delegation included Major General Do Ngoc Can, Vice Director of the General Department of Politics; Major General Nguyen Van Ly, Director of the Training Department and representatives of various agencies and units under the MPS.
On behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the MPS, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh inquired after and extended best regards to Mr. Pham Tam Long. He affirmed that all leaders, officers and soldiers of the MPS always appreciate the great contributions of the former leaders of the MPS, including Mr. Long, to the revolutionary cause of the Public Security Forces in general and to the education and training cause of the forces in particular.
The Deputy Minister hoped that teacher Long would recover soon and continues to serve as a spiritual support for his family and all soldiers and officers of the MPS.
