PSNews - Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh on August 6 received Mr. Uneda Kunio, Japanese Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Vietnam.

During the reception, Deputy Minister Thanh expressed his pleasure at the results of the cooperation between the two countries in the past time, saying the traditional relationship and cooperation between Vietnam and Japan are developing in depth and width. Meanwhile, the Vietnam-Japan extensive strategic partnership is continuously growing in all aspects, particularly security and economy.

Senior Lieutenant General Thanh emphasized that the Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security will continue to expand cooperation and experience exchange with Japanese law enforcement agencies in crime prevention and fight, security and social order protection, to create a more stable environment for socio-economic development in each country.
The Japanese Ambassador expressed his sincere thanks to Deputy Minister Thanh for the warm reception, and promised to contribute to further promoting the traditional friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Japan in all fields, including prevention and fight against crimes.
