Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh works with Cao Bang Provincial Police
PSNews – A delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) led by Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security, visited and worked with the Cao Bang Provincial Police.

Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Hong, Director of the Cao Bang Police briefed the working delegation on the economic, cultural and social development situation of the province, the outcomes of the provincial police in the first 10 months and the plan to implement its tasks in the last 2 months of 2017.
Following the action slogan of the entire People's Police Force in 2017 “Renovation, initiative, discipline, responsibility and effectiveness”, the Provincial Police launched the movement of “Protection of National Security” in 2017 with the slogan “Solidarity, innovation, discipline, efficiency”.
The Provincial Police organized various political activities in celebration of major anniversaries and important events of the Party, State, the Public Security Forces and the province. The Cao Bang police force also studied, grasped thoroughly and disseminated the newly promulgated directives, resolutions and conclusions of the Party Central Committee and Provincial Party Committee, contributing to better educating the force’s traditions, raising the political awareness and consolidating the faith of police officers and soldiers to the Party, the State and the people, heightening the sense of responsibility for fulfilling political tasks of officers and soldiers in each unit.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh appreciated the achievements attained by the Cao Bang Provincial Police in the past time.
The Deputy Minister urged the Provincial Police to focus on grasping the situation, forecasting possibilities, providing advice to leaders of the MPS and local authorities on measures to maintain security and order, and drawing up plans to respond to unexpected situations.

Deputy Minister Thanh also asked the Provincial Police focus on Party building, actively ensure security and order and maintain close coordination with other local forces to preserve stability; seriously implement Resolution No. 4 of the 12
thParty Central Committee, the Political Bureau's Directive No. 05, the movement “Building up the style of the People's Police officer of bravery, humanity and devotedness to the people” so as to fulfill the assigned tasks. In addition, Deputy Minister Thanh also urged the Cao Bang police force to actively review and solve the remaining issues and successfully address arising ones.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh and his working delegation also visited and worked with police of Thach An district, Cao Bang province.
