Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh works with Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department
PSNews – Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh leading a delegation of Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security visited and worked with the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department.

The visit was made within the framework of his ongoing trip to China.
Mr. Sun Taiping, Vice Director of the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department, warmly welcomed and briefed Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh and his entourage on the local public order and security as well as the task performance of the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department.
The Public Security Department of Guangdong Province is a twinning unit of Vietnam’s Da Nang Municipal Police. The two sides often exchange delegations and co-hold practical activities.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh, congratulated the Guangdong Public Security Department on their achievements and emphasized that the cooperation between the two countries’ public security ministries has achieved very positive results while the bilateral ties between the law enforcement forces of Guangdong and police units of Vietnam have continuously been strengthened with practical cooperation activities and good results.
He also asked the Provincial Public Security Department of Guangdong to further cooperate with police agencies of Vietnam in various fields, particularly in citizen protection, prevention and fight against transnational and organized crimes, and hi-tech crime.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh and his delegation also visited the Counterterrorism Command Center of Guangdong Province.
