The under-ministerial public security agencies included the Department of National Security Protection Movement Building; the Public Security’s Office; the Department of Legal Affairs and Administrative, Judicial Reforms; the Department of Science, Strategy and History; and the Department of Party and Political Work.
At the meeting, representatives of public security agencies reported the Deputy Minister on key issues, including amended criteria to define communes as security and order hotspots; the building of typical ward police and residential area models with urban security, order and civilization in 5 centrally-run cities; and the amendment to the Circular No. 23/2021/ TT-BCA issued on April 27, 2012 by the Minister of Public Security on regulations on residential areas, communes, wards, townships, agencies and enterprises meeting security and order standards.
Addressing the event, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To spoke highly of the efforts made by public security agencies in speeding up the progress and efficiency in implementing the assigned tasks.
He asked the agencies to continue to raise their sense of working responsibility and enhance exchange and coordination with relevant units to successfully fulfill all assigned tasks. The public security agencies should also consult the local police about advantages and difficulties in implementing the tasks, and conduct surveys on the results of the implementation of the tasks in localities.
At the meeting, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To also instructed the public security agencies to prepare for the celebration of the upcoming “All People Protecting National Security” Festive Day.
