Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To on July 27 worked with the Organization and Personnel Department under the Ministry of Public Security on the project "Building revolutionary, professional, elite and modernized People's Public Security Forces by 2030".

At the meeting, Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel Major General Hoang Duc Lung briefed the Deputy Minister on the implementation of the project "Building revolutionary, professional, elite and modernized People's Public Security Forces by 2030".

The head of the Department of Organization and Personnel also reported on several related sub-projects, such as "Positions and responsibilities in the People's Public Security Forces", "Plan on training public security officers until 2030", and "Building a contingent of qualified public security leaders at all levels with a focus on department and above levels”.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To asked the department to further review and revise contents of the project in line with the Party’s guidance and the State’s policy on building the People's Public Security Forces.

He also stressed that the project should also follow Resolution 22-NQ/TW of the Politburo on streamlining the apparatus of the Ministry of Public Security for more efficiency and effectiveness.
