Deputy Minister of Public Security works with A2 Prison
PSNews-Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security led a delegation to work with the A2 Prison under the General Department 8, in Dien Lam commune, Dien Khanh district, Khanh Hoa.

Lieutenant Colonel Do Ngoc Trong, Chief Warden at the A2 Prison briefed the Deputy Minister and his delegation that in recent times the prison warding unit has seriously implemented the Law on Criminal Execution, Law on Reprieve as well as other directions by the MPS, relevant legal and professional documents to enhance education, dissemination of the laws and occupational training for prisoners.
As a result, the education and rehabilitation of prisoners have witnessed fine outcomes. Inmates enjoy good healthcare services and their material and spiritual lives are continuously improved.
Particularly, the A2 Prison proactively draw up and implement plans to maintain security and order, enhance patrol and control, while actively preventing them from disturbing and escaping from the prison .
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son applauded all officers and the ranks of the A2 Prison for their achievements. He also urged them to closely grasp all policies and directions of the Politburo, the MPS and the General Department to fulfil all given missions.
The Deputy Minister also asked the Prison to manage to overcome all challenges and difficulties, proactively cooperate with the local authorities and police forces to build and implement action plans to maintain security and order in response to any situation and circumstance.
