Director of National Center for Population Database appointed

Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Deputy Minister of Public Security, chaired an event held in Hanoi on March 23 to announce the Public Security Minister’s decision on appointment of Director of National Center for Population Database.

Under the decision of the Minister of Public Security, Colonel Vu Van Tan, Vice Director of the National Center for Population Database, was appointed to the position of director of the center. At the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc handed the minister’s decision to Colonel Vu Van Tan.
The Deputy Minister congratulated Tan on his promotion and asked him to try his best to lead the staff of the center to successfully facilitate the implementation of the two projects of issuing e-ID cards and building national database on population.
