"Excellent Women of the General Department of Politics of Public Security" Award held
PSNews - The General Department of Politics under the Ministry of Public Security held the 2nd “Excellent Women of the General Department of Politics of Public Security" Award on January 12th afternoon, in Hanoi.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Board honored 10 excellent women of the General Department of Politics in all areas of work, as well as in women movements of the General Department; 3 newly-promoted female professors in 2016 including: Senior Colonel Dinh Ngoc Hoa, Deputy Director of the Public Security Political Academy; Senior Colonel Dang Thi Thanh, Deputy Head of the Division of Party-Political-Mass Mobilization Work; Lieutenant Colonel Dang Thi Thu Hien, Deputy Head of the Postgraduate Department of the People's Police Academy.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Nguyen Quang Chu, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics recognized and praised useful initiatives and ideas of the women organizations and individuals over the past years, contributing to promoting the glorious traditions and building a strong and clean force.

He also believed that the Women Union chapter of the General Department of Politcs will continuously play a good role in all movements of the Public Security Ministry in general and of the General Department of Politics in particular; spread meaningful activities and support needy women officers and soldiers.
Deputy Director Nguyen Quang Chu urged Party Committees and leaders of all units in the General Department of Politics to create good conditions for women organizations to well perform their roles for advancement, gender equality and development.
