Fire police honors typical individuals and organizations
PSNews - The Police Department of Fire Prevention and Fighting, and Rescue on November 23rd awarded certificates of merit to individuals and organizations with outstanding achievements in 2016.

The ceremony aimed to honor typical individuals and organizations in organizing activities in celebration of the 55th Fire Police Force's Traditional Day and the 15th anniversary of "All People Preventing and Fighting Fire".

Four staffers of the Public Security Newspaper were also awarded certificates of merit from the Police Department of Fire Prevention - Fighting and Rescue including: Colonel Tran Duy Hien - Head of the Editorial Secretariat; Major Dang Van Hung - Deputy Head of the News - Politics - Special Issues and two reporters Vu Thi Han and Le Thi Thanh Hien.
According to Major General Doan Viet Manh, Director of the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department, thanks to the effective collaboration of the press agencies, enterprises as well as other units, the celebration of the force’s traditional day was successfully organized, contributing to promoting the force’s glorious tradition and encouraging the force and people to fulfill assignments and participate effectively in the fire prevention movement.

He also stated that the entire Fire Police Force implemented 281,310 inspections and checks of fire prevention and safety in businesses and other facilities in 2016. According to the official, businesses, production facilities and organizations should upgrade their fire protection and exit systems in line with the standards, minimizing fire accidents and losses.
