First Shooting and Martial Arts Competition for combat units opens

The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held the opening ceremony of the first Shooting and Martial Arts Competition for combat units of the Public Security Force on October 6 in Tay Bac (Northwest) Square, Son La City.

The event saw the presence of Mr. Lo Minh Hung, Vice Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Son La, Major General Nguyen Ngoc Toan, Director of the Party and Political Work Department under the MPS, Senior Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Van, Director of the Son La Provincial Police Department, and leaders, representatives from relevant agencies, branches.
This competition has attracted 600 athletes from 37 teams of specialized departments under the MPS and provincial police departments of the northern provinces. They will compete in various categories of martial arts and shooting.
Events in the framework of the contest take place in various places in Son La province till October 9.
