Ha Nam Police review task performance in 2020

PSNews –The Ha Nam Provincial Police Department held a meeting on December 23 to review the local police’s performance of tasks in 2020 and roll out new plans for 2021.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Party Central Committee’s member, attended the event. The conference also saw the participation of leaders of Ha Nam province and units under the Ministry of Public Security.

Under the authority of the State President, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam award the First-class Fatherland Defense Order to the Ha Nam Provincial Police Department.

Reports delivered at the event read that the Ha Nam Provincial Police in 2020 have seriously implemented directions and guidance of the Party, the State and the Ministry of Public Security on ensuring security and order and advised local Party committees and authorities to fight and prevent crimes.

Last year, the Ha Nam Provincial Police made a big success in the fight against crimes, law violations. Meanwhile, the State management of security and order was strengthened. The police force also took measures to prevent and reduce traffic accidents, and to ensure fire safety in the locality.

For their great achievement, the Ha Nam Provincial Police Department has been honored with the First-class Fatherland Defense Order by the State President. Many officers and subunits were awarded honors by the Ministry of Public Security.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh acknowledged and praised the achievements gained by the Ha Nam Provincial Police in 2020.

According to the Deputy Minister, in the coming time, the local police should continue focus on Party work and force building. He urged the unit to enhance the fight against all kind of crimes, avoiding being put at a disadvantage.

He also asked the unit to craft concrete plans to ensure security and order during the upcoming 13th National Party Congress and the general elections of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term.
