Ha Nam Provincial Police review emulation movements
PSNews – The Ha Nam Provincial Police on June 5 reviewed 2 years implementing Directive No.5 of the Politburo on promoting the movement “Studying and Following President Ho Chi Minh's Thought, Morals and Style”, and 5 years implementing Directive No.5 by the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) “Promoting the movement of the People’s Public Security Forces studying and following 6 teachings of Uncle Ho”.

The event saw the presence of Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Member of the Politburo, Deputy Minister of Public Security, and Mr. Nguyen DinhKhang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee. Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Trung, Director of the Ha Nam Provincial Police Department presided over the event.
Over the past 5 years, the Ha Nam police force has successfully discovered and investigated 1,272 cases related to social order while controlling traffic accidents in terms of numbers of cases and casualties. Particularly, all local police officers have actively improved their political stance, police manner, sense of responsibility and spirit of devotedness to the people.
Since 2013, 235 teams and 322 individuals have been honored as “good examples” of the movements. The Provincial Police Department has rewarded 85 teams and 225 individuals with their outstanding achievements in the movement of “Studying and following the 6 teachings of Uncle Ho.”

Addressing the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh and Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang recognized and praised the achievements gained by the provincial police in implementing the directives of the Politburo and the MPS in the past time.
They also asked the provincial police to further promote ideological and political education for local police officers and soldiers.
On this occasion, 7 individuals with their outstanding merits in the movement “Protection of National Security” in 2015-2017, and other exemplary teams and individuals in implementing the Directives of the Politburo and MPS received the noble titles and awards.
