Ha Tinh police officers voluntarily donate blood

PSNews – The Youth Union organization of the Ha Tinh Provincial Police Department in collaboration with the Ha Tinh Provincial Hospital on February 23 held the first blood donation drive in 2021 themed “Every drop of blood is donated, a life could be saved.”

Speaking at the event, Senior Colonel Dang Hoai Son, Vice Director of the Ha Tinh Police hailed the humane spirit of police officers and soldiers and local people participating in the blood donation drive.

He stressed that the drive is an opportunity for Youth Union members to donate their blood, helping people in need. He added that blood donation has become a far-reaching movement among Ha Tinh police officers.

The program was participated in by 200 police officers and soldiers, and 160 blood units were collected.

All participants were checked their body temperature and requested to wear facemasks and wash their hands before donating their blood.

From February to December 2020, the Youth Union organization of the Ha Tinh Police organized five voluntary blood donation programs and donated 797 blood units.
