Highway traffic surveillance camera system inaugurated

Speaking at the inauguration, Major General Le Xuan Duc, Vice Director of the Traffic Police Department, highlighted the system’s significant role in ensuring traffic order and safety, and reducing traffic accidents.

Major General Le Xuan Duc also asked the agency responsible for operating the system to pay attention to training of its staff to efficiently tap the system capacity.

This traffic surveillance camera system is integrated with the National Population Database and the Public Service Portal, so it helps the police quickly find out the name of the person and the vehicle that have violated regulations of traffic order and safety.

Major General Le Xuan Duc said the camera system has been appraised by the Ministry of Public Security based on the provisions of Decree 165 of the Government and Circular 20 of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
