Hoa Binh Police do good to local people

PSNews – The Hoa Binh Provincial Police is striving to effectively deploy Directives No.5 on “Enhancing the movement “Studying and following thought, morals, lifestyle of Ho Chi Minh”, by wholeheartedly serving the people.

Following the motto “Active, disciplined, responsible, effective; to build a civilized lifestyle and culture at workplace”, the Party committees at all levels of the Hoa Binh Provincial Police implemented the directives effectively by innovating forms and contents.

In particular, the Hoa Binh Police force integrated the contents of the movement “Studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morals and lifestyle” in units’ activities to regularly educate members of Party, Youth Union and Trade Union about the great values of President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morals and lifestyle.

The highlight in the Hoa Binh Police’s implementation of the directive is that the provincial police command selected police at the basic level as the core to deploy the movement.

Every year, the program “Bridge of kindness” held by the Hoa Binh Police in collaboration with the Public Security Newspaper offers numerous practical-meaning gifts to needy households in mountainous areas of the province.

In January 2017, under the theme “Tet for needy people”, the Hoa Binh Provincial Police and Public Security Newspaper presented gifts worth nearly 200 million VND to people in the communes of Dinh Cu, Ngoc Lau, Ngoc Son and Tu Do, Lac Son district.

In the first 5 months of 2017, the Hoa Binh Police visited and presented gifts to 1,273 households with a total amount of 920 million VND, built 7 gratitude houses worth of 350 million VND, handed 9 breeding cows worth of 150 million VND and 6 savings books of 30 million VND to needy local people. The provincial police also offer free heath checkups and free medicines to 369 policy beneficiary families, needy households, as well as poor and studious children. Local police also repaired thousands of meters of rural roads, deployed of the project “traffic light” in remote areas in the province.

The Hoa Binh Police also proactively prevented and struggled against activities of hostile forces and dealt with many complicated cases, contributing to stabilizing political stability, denying the emergence of “hot spots” of security and order.

After 1 year implementing Directives No.5, the Provincial Police has successfully investigated 577/658 criminal cases and arrested 996 related suspects or 87.69% of the total numbers, of which 97.43% of the especially dangerous criminals were caught. Most recently, the PC52 Division has arrested an international most wanted suspect Nguyen Thi Binh who illegally appropriated over 21 billion VND while the PC 47 Division in collaboration with functional forces of Ministry of Public Security discovered 2 illegal drug trafficking cases and seized 45 kg heroin. The PC 64 Division and District and Municipal Police forces have also mobilized people to return 600 handmade guns.

The Hoa Binh Provincial Police has do their utmost to effectively implement the movement “Studying and following thought, morals and lifestyle of Ho Chi Minh. In order to improve the results of work in all working aspects as well as heighten the sense of responsibility, morals and manners of local public security officers and soldiers, and regulated proper conduct toward the people, contributing to building the Hoa Binh Police as a comprehensively strong and clean force and meeting the requirement to ensure security and social order and safety in new situation.
