Leaders of MPS congratulate press agencies on revolutionary press day
PSNews – Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security led a delegation to visit and congratulate press agencies.

On the occasion of the 93rd Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925-2018), Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh on June 20 led a delegation to visit the Vietnam Journalists’ Association, Nhan Dan Newspaper, Vietnam News Agency, Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam, People's Army Newspaper, Military Television and Broadcasting Center, as well as the Radio, Television and Cinema Center of Public Security and Public Security Newspaper.
At the meetings, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh extended his congratulations and thanks to the leaders, staff and journalists of the Central and local press agencies for their assistance, support and effective coordination with the People’s Public Security Forces in reporting various activities of the forces, including maintenance of security and order and the building of the People’s Security Forces on press and media publications and products.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh spoke highly of the role of the press agencies in connecting the police forces with the people, contributing to the victories in the protection of national security, social order and safety.

Additionally, the press contributed to promoting the movement of “All people protecting national security”, quickly spread advanced models and outstanding individuals and teams of the People’s Public Security Forces (PPSF), beautifying the good images of the PPSF.
Deputy Minister Thanh also hoped that the press agencies would further coordinate with the PPSF to support the forces in fulfilling their tasks entrusted by the Party, the State and the people.
