Mr. Nhan emphasized that HCMC is a key area in terms of security and defence. In recent years, the city has witnessed steady growth, and the municipal authorities have harmoniously combined the city’s socio-economic development with the enhancement of local security and defence capabilities, and maintenance of social order and safety.
However, there are still a number of challenges and difficulties, affecting the maintenance of local security and social order and safety. In this context, the Standing Committees of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and Ho Chi Minh City Municipal Party Committee should strengthen their cooperation to ensure security and order and avoid any unexpected eventualities.
The Central Party Committee of Public Security and the MPS also took the chance to present the “National Security Protection” medals to 5 officers and soldiers with outstanding achievements in maintaining security and order and building the public security forces.
