MPS holds meeting with health leaders

PSNews – The Ministry of Public Security on February 23rd held a social meeting with leading heath professors and doctors, leaders of the central-level hospitals in Hanoi on the occasions of the 62th anniversary of the Vietnamese Doctors' Day.

Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Member of Politburo, Minister of Public Security chaired the event.

Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the Central Party Committee of Public Security, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam congratulated and highly appreciated the achievements and significant contributions of the health sector to taking care of health of people in general and public security officers, soldiers and workers in particular.

On this occasion, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam on behalf of the public security forces expressed his honor and gratitude to leaders of the Ministry of Health, leaders of the Central Healthcare Board, leading heath professors and doctors, leaders of Central-level hospitals in Hanoi and all Vietnamese doctors who have actively cooperated and assisted the Ministry of Public Security in ensuring security, order and taken care of officers and soldiers' health.

The deputy minister stressed, maintaining national security, social order and safety and health care for the people is a crucial mission, requiring both the Public Security Forces and health sector to cooperate closely to complete the missions assigned by the Party, State and people.

The Central Party Committee of Public Security and Ministry of Public Security hope that the Ministry of Health's leaders, leaders of the Central Healthcare Board, leading professors and doctors and leaders of Central-level hospitals to continue to support the Ministry of Public Security in developing the Public Security Health System; organizing medical training course for doctors working for the public security forces so that they can take better care of the health of public security officers, soldiers and workers in the new situation.
