MPS leader visits news agencies on occasion of Vietnam’s Revolutionary Press Day

Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Deputy Minister of Public Security, leading a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on June 18 visited several press and media agencies in Hanoi on the occasion of the 95th Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2020).

At the meetings with leaders of the Hanoi-based press and media agencies, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the MPS, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang presented congratulation flowers and expressed gratitude to the press and media agencies for their support and effective coordination with the People's Public Security Forces in disseminating the forces’ policies to protect national security, maintain social order and step up the force building in the past time.

The MPS’s leader hoped that, in the coming time, the press and media agencies will further support the Public Security Forces in ensuring national security, maintaining social order and safety and safeguarding the peaceful life for the people by publishing more press and media products reflecting task performances of public security agencies and units.

Representatives of the press and media agencies and the Vietnam Journalists’ Association thanked the MPS’s leadership for the good care for all journalists and the sector. They affirmed that they will effectively coordinate and support the forces to fulfill their tasks assigned by the Party, the State and the people in the coming time.
